Create a Room

Room creators can earn in three ways:

  • Key Trading Fees: 5% of every Key trade is paid back to the original Room creator.

  • Key Allocation: Creators of a Room are able to purchase Keys, which grow in value as demand rises.

  • Performance Incentives: A significant share of $ROOM token supply is reserved for Rooms.

How to open a Room

  1. Go to https://app.backroom.tech/ and sign-in

  2. Click on your Profile > Connect X (you'll see your Twitter PFP/username then)

  1. Click "Create your own Room" and follow the instructions:

a. Add Room Description (cannot be changed after)

b. Decide if you want to use the Backroom Agent in Telegram or Discord (during phase 1, one channel can be selected)

c. Choose a Pricing Model for your Keys (cannot be changed after) > The key price follows a bonding curve - the price increases/decreases with each key sold

  1. "Activate" and confirm in your wallet.

  2. Congrats! Your Room is live - you can now buy Keys and start inviting others to join.

  3. All message flow from your telegram chat or discord channel will be sent to your Room, and Key holders will be able to access it.

For security reasons, you have to be admin of the info sources you're planning to add the Backroom Agent.
